HarleyLooking for a permanent home

  • F / Black / 2 Months

Hi My name is Harley, I am a curious, playful 2 month old black domestic medium hair kitten. I arrived at the shelter with a prolapsed rectum, ouch, not a very comfortable condition! The Shelter vet tech asked the nice folks with MPC if I could be taken to an outside Vet to have my toosh looked at to see if it could be repaired. Lucky for me repair was an option and I have spent the last couple of weeks receiving lots of care and attention from the Vets and Vet Techs at Malibu Coast Animal Hospital. Once all the procedures are done to correct my rear end condition I will be able to live a very normal life. I should be back at the shelter soon and will be available for adoption.

Owen Looking for a permanent home

  • M

Hi My Name is Owen.

I was turned in by my owner who thought I might have cushings disease. Well the nice folks with MPC ran some tests with the Vets at MCAH and nothing definitive came up. I don't act like a cushings dog, they drink a lot of water and of course then you know what happens next, they go pee a lot too but I don't do that. So here I sit, in a shelter in my golden years when I should be sitting in someone's home on a nice soft bed. Just looking for a mature family to go with my mature age where things are calm and mellow. I'm always up for a visit so if you are in the Agoura area come on down to make my acquaintance!

Pegasus Looking for a permanent home

  • M

Hi my name is Pegasus. I came in with my friend Lightning from another shelter after having been turned in by our owners who moved. Though you can't tell from this lovely head shot of me I was a bit overweight so I was immediately put on the Agoura Shelter's Biggest Loser plan. Goal was for me to lose 25 pounds! With a promise to eat right, dining on special food provided by MPC, and exercising daily with the nice Agoura volunteers I am now just 4 pounds away from my goal of a svelte 70 pounds. Yes that's right I have lost 20 pounds off my originally 95 pound frame! And of course being the lady I am I do look forward to getting the last of the weight off and to hopefully a forever home with my pal Lightning. We have been together since we were puppies, are really bonded to each other, and hope to find a family willing to adopt us both very soon! Available now at the Agoura Animal Shelter, please come on down to see us!

With a promise to eat right, dining on special food provided by MPC, and exercising daily with the nice Agoura volunteers I am now just 16 pounds away from my goal of a robust 85 pounds. Yes that's right when I arrived I weighed in at a scale tipping 110 pounds! While I haven't lost as much weight as my gal Peg I am really trying hard to drop the last few pounds and looking forward to a forever home with my very best girl Pegasus. We have been together since we were puppies, are really bonded to each other, and hope to find a family willing to adopt us both very soon!
