The HHA Recycling Program is a simple, impactful way to support Healthcare for Homeless Animals and the environment at the same time. Developed by a dedicated group of volunteers at the Agoura Animal Care Center, this program encourages you to collect recyclables from the shelter, your home, or anywhere and donate the money you receive from the recycling center to HHA. Every can, bottle, and piece of cardboard can help provide medical care for animals in need!

How to Get Involved
Turn trash into lifesaving cash
1. Donate your recycling.
If you have any Recycling at home, work or from a neighbor (Plastic, Aluminum, and Glass bottles only), please drop it off at the donation area to the left of the office at Agoura Animal Care Center located on 29525 Agoura Rd., Agoura Hills, CA. Drop-off is open 24/7
We have a team of volunteers that transports everything donated to the recycling center and all proceeds are donated to HHA.
2. Volunteer
You can volunteer to pick up and drop off recycling. Reach out to us to learn more about how to become a HHA Recycling Volunteer.
3. Spread the Word
Encourage your friends, family, and community to join the HHA Recycling Program and donate their recycling to HHA. The more participants, the greater the impact on both the environment and the animals in our care.
Donate recycling proceeds
1. Collect Recyclables
Start gathering recyclables like bottles, cans, and cardboard from your home, workplace, or the Agoura Animal Care Center.
2. Take Your Recyclables to a Center
Visit your nearest recycling center and turn in the items for cash.
3. Donate the Proceeds to HHA
Once you receive your payment, donate the funds to Healthcare for Homeless Animals (HHA). Every donation goes directly towards medical care for the animals.
4. Spread the Word & Ask your Friends
Encourage your friends, family, and community to join the HHA Recycling Program and donate their own recycling to support HHA. Pick up a neighbor’s recycling or ask your work if they have extra recycling.
